1 - Introduction

Routes are part of the “Paths” (Records - Paths ) that leads a worker from one place to another. A route can be defined as Advanced payment (FAQ - Criando e exportando adiantamento financeiro de logística), Car Rental, Accommodation, Airplane transportation, Maritime transportation, among others. Usually is said that a route is the minimum distance between two places, although accommodation here is also defined as a route and this is where it will be recorded. This is necessary, so the software can build a full path with the routes. When possible, is important to define costs to each route, so DRAKE will be fed with cost information when creating a path. This is where the logistical suppliers cost spreadsheets will be imported, since it is correctly filled.

    Example:: 1 hour.

The fields “Any Source” and “Any Destination” have a differentiated definition.

  • Any Source: Means that near the Source, not exactly a specific place this route ca be used. If this box is checked, Drake will define that the origin does not have a fixed place and the logistics may happen on any source, respecting the optimization boundaries.

  • Any Destination: Means that near the Destination, not exactly a specific place this route ca be used. If this box is checked, Drake will define that the destination does not have a fixed place and the logistics may happen on any source, respecting the optimization boundaries.

Observation: If the fields “Any Source” and “Any Destination” are not checked, Drake will define that the route can be utilized only on the places described on “Source” and “Destination” fields.
