Vacations rules parametrization

1. Introduction

The unit "Vacation rules parametrization" enable the rule configuration to update the acquisitive period for all company employees, such as: Limit vacation date, reminder to vacation request, vacations sale and others.

2. Access

Access parameters screen through the follow access way: Configuration > Parameters.

Select on menu the option "Modules", subsequently, select the option "Vacation Planner" as image below:

PARAMETER	DEFINITION
GENERAL SETTINGS
Days limit to planning edit	Days limit number to confirm before the worker vacation get start. Example: The worker may be request or edit his vacations until 45 days before his vacations.
Vacation Warning	Number of days before the vacation get start, that worker will be notified. Example: The worker will be notified about his vacation date until 45 days before it gets start.
Changes that need justification	Number of days before the concession period end. In other words, before concession period end, any changing kind, made by planner will be necessary justify.
Vacation request reminder	Number of days before the vacation request term end. Example: The worker will be notified till 60 days before the term end to request his vacations.
Partial approval	Permit the partial approval that shared vacations.
Advance payment	Permit that worker request the advance payment.
Is worker needs cover up his vacations by standard?	Define if worker needs or not cover his vacations. If do not exist some automatically definitions which apply.
Continue planning vacations even when it already been booked or confirmed	Get start on vacation request flow or continue updating the vacation suggestions, even the vacations already been booked or confirmed. In other words, the system will generate vacation suggestions for worker, by the way once defined the date, the system will finish automatically, without necessity that planner make it.
Processing vacations outside concession period	Allow processing vacation outside concession period, even when it been inside concession period. In other words, with active parameter, it won't block the processing vacations outside concession period, when the process have been among concession period.

ONSHORE WORKER
Generate onshore requests	The vacation request will be generated to onshore workers.
Days limit to schedule	Number of days to schedule before the vacations begin. Example: The planner may schedule worker vacations until 120 days before the concession period end.
Days limit to vacation request	Number of days before the concession period end. Example: The worker may schedule his vacations until 60 days before concession period end.
Vacations Sale	Maximum number of days that will be sold. Example: Only will be allowed that worker sell 10 days of his vacations.
Vacations Split	Vacations maximum partitions number that work could have. Example: The vacations may be shared only twice.
Minimum days of a vacation split	Minimum number of days that a vacation split may be shared.
Maximum days of a vacation split	Maximum number of days that a vacation split may be shared.
Minimum days allowed between the vacations split	Restricts the minimum days quantity between the vacations split.
OFFSHORE WORKER
Generate offshore requests	The vacations request will be generating to offshore workers.
Days limit to schedule	Number of days to schedule before vacations begin.
Days limit to vacations request	Number of days before turn the acquisitive period to concessive period.
Vacations Sale	Maximum number of days to be sold.
Vacations suggestion	Suggestion number to be displayed to worker to scoring.
Keep updating the vacations suggestions after request period be reached.	Will keep updating the vacations suggestions after request period be reached.
