Approval team configuration by function

Introduction

The Approval Team Configuration is use for a group of function, that the events approval (ex: vacations) will be associate to profiles by customs approvals flow.

Imagine the following scenario:

Driller and Roustabout, they will have their vacations approved by a supervisor, as the OIM.

In this way, after a worker from any of these positions indicate his vacations preferences, the OIM will receive an Inbox to vacation schedule accomplishment, which will bring him to execute this operation.

If a function doesn't be associated to any approver profile, a message will be send to manager vacation profile to be done the necessary corrections.

Below will be listed the necessary procedures to team configurations:

Necessary actions 

1. Register approvers users

The first step is to register the accounts of approving users.

2. Register approvers profiles

Register the responsible approval profiles, only if they don't exist.

Select the approvers users highlighted on previous topic, that will be part of this profile.

3. Give access permissions to approvers profiles

Give necessary access permissions to approver profile mentioned on previous step.

Some necessary permissions:

• Manage Team - Necessary permission to register approver team.
• Manager team members - Necessary access permission to make able the management of team members.
• Adjust team members - Necessary access permission to adjust team members allocation.
• Vacations Register - Access permission to functionality of vacation register, where will be possible view vacation records from requests created by system.

Note: After topic 05 conclusion, will be necessary to grant the transition permission to configured approval flow..

4. Register configuration approval teams

Register a setting approved events team to function that will be defined as approvers.

Approval flow configuration

It's necessary to set up the approval flow. This flow should associate the approver profile with the approval configuration team registered in the previous topic.
