Coverage Planning

1. Introduction

This documentation aim to detail the coverage absenteeism planning feature.

Once requested coverage on request screen, the planning window will be responsible to identify and answer the needs by a strategic way.

2. Access Permissions

2.1 The permission "Coverage Planning" must be granted to responsible profiles to control this feature.

Note: To grant this permission, read the article: Granting Access Permissions


3. Coverage Planning Screen

Note: The attendance for this feature will depend on what was configurated in company flow.

The attendance may be done through a request which comes at inbox and redirects the user to coverage planning screen.

3.1 To have access on planning screen, follow this menu way path: 
Tasks > Operation > Coverage Planning


3.2 Once have done the access, the planning screen will be displayed by listing "Talent Pool" team or "Extra team" and workers who needs coverage.

3.3 Let's see the meaning of each option on image below:


1 Talent Pool Tab:  The "Talent Pool" or "Extra Team" is the window identification where has all registered workers with this specification.

2 - Magnifying glassOn this field it will be possible locate a particular worker.

3 - Workers: The workers shown on this screen, were registered on a particular team to attend an absenteeism coverage needs.

4 - Marker: This line represents the current screnario. It means, the present day.

5 - Timeline: The timeline shown all worker events.

The "Coverage" status means that worker has a planned coverage, but he doesn't have a scheduled programming.

The "Work" status means that worker has scheduled programming. If do not appears any status, it means that worker is available to do a coverage on desired period.

6 - Page: Page's number available to visualization.

7 - Rows per page: Workers number by page.

8 - Zoom: Timeline extension.

9 - Settings: Set display order on "talent pool" dashboard and the coverage needs. It is also possible set the beginning range and "timeline" end, as well as retroactive and future days views

10 - Filter: Search filters where is possible find by worker fuction or talent pool team.

11 - Coverage Need: They are workers who needs coverage. Were previously registered on "Coverage Request".

12 - Options: These are inserted dates options in coverage request.



4. Planning a coverage

4.1 Select the worker on "Coverage needs" to make a coverage attendance.


4.2 After had select the worker, the screen will display necessary informations to pick best date option, as image below:


4.3 At example above, we can verify that worker "Lenilson Nogueira" need a vacation coverage for 30 days. However, "Lenilson" is an offshore worker, because that, the coverage options has only 14 days. 

4.4 Once had select the best date option, the window "Talent pool" will update available workers automatically to do this coverage.

4.5 Check image below:


4.6 After have chosen worker that will do the coverage, the window below will be displayed.


4.7 For now, you just need to select the dates and click on "Save" button to complete. 

Note: The option to select date is obligatory, otherwise , do not be possible "save" the operation. This happens because in some situations, the available worker doesn't have days to make fully coverage.

4.8 This feature allows be choosen more than "1" worker to make fully request coverage.


5. Deleting

5.1 If you want remove a worker, you just need to click on "X".

5.2 We get done! For now, the coverage planning was completed.
