FAQ - Adding digital signature in online certificates

1 - Introduction

 

When receiving an online training certificate, if necessary to request the worker’s signature, this can be digitally done.

Ps.: Valid for internal trainings.

 


2 - Steps

2.1 After the certificate template is set, enable the parameter “Requires signature of trainee in internal online training“ on Parameters > Modules > Training > Options

2.2 Done this, all online training will start requiring online signature to finish, however, if the user prefers not to turn mandatory the worker signature, go to the course on Records > Compliance > Courses and enable the option “Trainee's signature is not mandatory“

  • When enabling the parameter, DRAKE generates a job to update all the courses flow, so they start requesting for signature. This process may take a while, depending on the amount of courses the company has and may take up to 24 hours.

  • When enabling the parameter, all scheduled trainings before this process conclusion will not require a signature. Threefore, if the company understands that the courses pending conclusion are necessary to have the signature, it will be necessary to schedule them again. For more information, go to:


3 - The Worker’s View

After the parameter is enabled, the worker will need to sign the online certificate and this will be performed on his MyDRAKE. There is no significant changes on the way the worker performs the trainings, but now a new field will be added so he can receive the certificate.
