Records - Jobs

1 - Introduction

Before Records - Workers must be informed which positions will be included on the company’s system considering a standardization. Considering this registration does not exist, the user would have to register worker by worker and their positions individually. If written incorrectly, not all workers could be found when filtering by position. The jobs on DRAKE will be used as key for modules on the system, as training matrix, logistic rights and many other functionalities using the jobs as criteria.


2 - Permissions

To access this functionality, the permission “Maintain Jobs” must be granted to the responsible profiles for operate and control the functionality.

To allow the tab “Levels” while registering jobs, and each level remuneration, the permission “Maintain job levels” must be granted.

3 - Steps

3.1 To record a new Job, go to: Records > HR > Jobs.

3.2 The page below will be displayed with all the registered jobs.

3.3 To record a new Job, click on “Add”.

3.4 The window to add will open with 3 tabs: Properties, Levels and Medical Validity.

On the tab “Properties”, fill in the fields with the corresponding data.

Tab Properties:

 

Code: Job’s internal code (Not sequential).

Embark Priority: Priority to embark the job.

Description: Name of the job.

Category: The job is Onshore, Offshore or Maritime.

Source: Source of the job: Payroll, External, General, Operation

Days: Quantity of days the job will have for the Health Assessment. If not filled the validity for each Health Assessment type.

Active: Check this option if the job is active.

Meal allowance: Quantity of meals granted for this position.

ID: Identification for the job.

3.5 On the tab Levels, must be informed the job’s level and the remuneration for each level. Click on “Add” to include one or more levels.

3.5.2 A new window will be displayed. Define a order for the reference, a description to the level. Inform if the job level demands the worker to be bilingual and the Salary to the registered level.

To add more than one level, the process must be repeated according to the number of levels to be added.

3.6 On the tab Medical Validity, must be informed with days the health assessment expiration to the categories: Admission, Periodical, First Periodical, Job change, Return to work

3.7 Click on “Save and Close” to finish.


4 - Changing a registered Job

4.1 If necessary to change the record of a job, click above the job to be changed.

4.2 Next, change the necessary information and click on “Save and Close” to finish..

 


5 - Deleting a registered Job

5.1 To delete a registered Job, click above the job and click on “Delete

Behind DRAKE is a database where the inserted information on system are attached internally generating a complex network. If the user deletes an item linked to other pertinent information, the system will block the action. In this case, unlink all and any information linked to the job.
